Another available yearling from pasture 3. Jitterbug caused quite a stir for her coloring when she was born last year. She is a myotonic but that doesn't mean you can clap your hands and she falls over! I always laugh when I hear that myotonics are so easy to catch. Ha!

Now here's a good looking girl I love to see. Billie Jean is heavily muscled and a good mama. Pat has her listed as available and she would make a good addition to anyone's doe herd. She likes to be the last one out of the feeding area and although I TRY to chase her she just takes her time and ignores me. That makes me like her even more!

BTR Cupid's Arrow, TexMaster™ buck born in January of this year gets his first does today. He is so excited and doesn't know which girl smells the best. Can't wait to see what these breedings produce. Arrow is a son of Bending Tree Ranch Clark Gable and Bending Tree Ranch Clementine.~Pat

I am not going to be at the ranch as much anymore - taking a place near my girls in MN. My youngest daughter found this older cat for me to adopt so I would have at least one animal around. She assured me she would care for her when I go to the ranch. Her name is Kass.

Pat found Pearl Blossom's two girls hanging out in a feed container. Kids really love to cuddle up in stuff. Always cute.

New Hayrack

Got a couple of new hayracks and I am kinda liking them. They aren't roofed like my sling/cradle racks but these I can move around without having to use the tractor. One of the ends opens up so you can slip the hay bale in that way or if you are lazy like me then you just drop the bale in from the top.

The goats love them but of course, they love what is in the rack, not so much what is holding the hay for them. ~Pat

Dot the cat is one of our feral kitties and is the sweetest of the 3 feral kitties we have. She loves the goats and now the chickens too. It is so hot here this summer and the chickens love to lay in what used to be a flower bed on the east end of the house. Who can have flower beds when you have goats wandering all over? Dot has discovered that if she lays really still and pretends to be sleeping she can hang out with the chickens.~Pat

Meadow - a reluctant show gal

BTR Meadow is a lovely myotonic goat - correct, well muscled, a good mom, and easy to work with at home. That didn't translate into good girl at the show. According to Pat and Alyssa (who had to try to drag her around) Meadow did not care for the ring or anything else about the show world. Here she is in the ring with her head down and later turning her 'back' to the camera. Oh well, we still love her!
